Overview
Working
as part of a team is crucial to the success of any
organisation, as we all need to get results through
others!
This
2-day in-house teambuilding event
will cover the essential techniques and strategies
so that the participants will be able to work better
as a team, understand each other and will be able to
appreciate and implement ways of working what will
make their team deliver outstanding results.
Prior
to the event each participant will be asked to
complete a short
15-minute team effectiveness assessment so that we
can customize the agenda based upon the feedback
that we get from the group. The results of the
assessment will be communicated to the group as a
whole to establish a baseline position from which to
move forward.
On
successful completion of the programme, participants
will be able to:
- Understand
what role they play in a team environment based
upon Belbin's theory of team dynamics and what
this means for effective team working
- Understand
their own preferred learning and working style
and that of their team members so they can
maximize productivity and effectiveness?
- Understand
and appreciate the world according to other
people and how to use this to get the best out
of each team member
- Understand
their own leadership strengths and weaknesses in
the team environment
- Appreciate
and understand the demands and pressures on
other people and how to work together to achieve
common goals
- Apply
advanced communication skills to get what they
want, when they want it and from whomever!
